Just a little history . . . Jodi got the idea to name the studio after the "Eurhythmics" system for teaching musical rhythms through body movement. This system was created by the Swiss music educator Emile-Jaques-Dalcroze. She also loved the name!
Eurhythmics Dance Studio was established in 1997 & successfully operates in the beautiful community of Cochrane, Alberta. Owner & operator Jodi Aasen is very proud of her studio and is amazed at the skill & talent of her artistic students.
Jodi began teaching at the age of 16 at Allan Cozzubbo Academy as a junior teacher. She performed in the ballet corps in the opening ceremonies of the '88 Winter Olympics. Jodi has completed various workshops and teaching seminars and has worked with such talents as Joe Tramaine, Al Gilbert, Doug Caldwell and Sean Cheeseman.
Jodi is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Ballet. Jody is continually learning and travels to workshops & seminars to bring the the most current dance techniques to her students.
