Although our dance term runs close to the same as the Rockey View School district, our studio is only closed on holidays.  Classes still run even though there is a professional development day scheduled for your school. Please read below for important studio dates and deadlines. *Please note that once festival dates are out, some dates for our competitive students may change based on festival dates provided.

Monday, September 12th, 2011 - First day of classes
Monday, October 10th, 2011 - Thanksgiving Day - no classes
Friday, October 21st, 2011 - First set of festival fees due (for dancers participating in ShyAnn Banff Dance Festival)
Friday, November 11th, 2011 - Remembrance Day - no classes
Tuesday, November 15th, 2011 - All costume deposits must be received in order to process your costume orders
Thursday, December 1st, 2011 - Pre-school tap semester for age 3 commences
Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 - Pre-school tap semester for age 4 commences
Thursday, December 15th, 2011 - All remaining festival fees due for pre-competitive and competitive students
Tuesday, December 20th, 2011 - Last day of ballet for our ballet/jazz combo class - jazz semester begins in the New Year
Friday, December 23rd, 2011 - Last day of rehearsals and classes for Christmas Break
December 24th, 2011 - January 8th, 2012 - Christmas Break - studio closed
Monday, January 9th, 2012 - Classes resume
Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 - Jazz semester begins for the ballet/jazz combo class
Friday, February 17th, 2012 - Last day of rehearsal prior to Family Week break
February 18th - February 26th, 2012 - Family Week break - studio closed
Monday, February 27th, 2012 - Classes resume
Thursday, March 1st, 2012 - Pre-school jazz semester for age 3 commences
Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 - Pre-school jazz semester for age 4 commences
*For the month of March - watch for dates on dress rehearsals and picture days
Friday, March 30th, 2012 - Last day of rehearsal and class prior to Easter Break
March 31st - April 8th, 2012 - Easter Break - studio closed
Monday, April 9th, 2012 - Classes resume
Friday, May 18th - Monday, May 21st, 2012 - Studio closed for Victoria Day Long Weekend
Saturday, May 26th, 2012 - Picture viewing and Registration for summer and fall 2012-2013 for current dance family members
Sunday, May 27th, 2012 - 15th Annual Year End Recital - Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary, AB
